The Top Award for comics, Cartoons
and Illustration in the Arab World

The Mahmoud Kahil Award, an NGO aiming to promote comics, editorial cartoons and illustration in the Arab world through the recognition of the rich talent and creative achievement of artists from the region. The Award offers a total price of $35,000 with unique prizes up to $10,000 in the various categories. The Mahmoud Kahil Award is an award program under the Rada and Mutaz Sawaf Center for Arab Comics Studies at the American University of Beirut.
